HEALTH & ACCIDENT UNDERWRITING MANAGERS (PTY) LTD (H&A) HAS PARTNERED WITH GENRIC INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED
Health & Accident (H&A) is an Underwriting Management Agency (UMA) and outsourced administration solution company
We are excited to announce a partnership with GENRIC Insurance Company Limited (“GENRIC”) as from the 1st of January 2025. GENRIC is a market leader focused on bringing innovative and niche insurance solutions to market by partnering with specialist Underwriting Managers, startup businesses, insuretech, innovators and brokers. GENRIC will become our insurer for our GAP Cover suite of products, as well as for our Income Protection products and Group Personal Accident product. Provided that you, our client, give consent for your cover to transfer to GENRIC.
WE NEED YOUR CONSENT
With the appointment of GENRIC as the new insurer, policyholders must give consent to change the policy to GENRIC. We are required to notify you, as the policyholder, 31 days in advance of any change initiated by H&A.
Please click on the link below to give consent to change to GENRIC. This will ensure continuity of your existing cover with us.
Note: It’s important to understand that appointing a new insurer doesn’t impact your policy and cover with H&A in any way. It’s of utmost importance that you understand the following when giving consent to move your cover:
- The Policy remains with H&A as the administrator – only the insurer will change to GENRIC as from the 1st of January 2025.
- Your cover with Compass Insurance will be cancelled as of the 31st of December 2024. Once consent is given your new H&A policy will be activated with GENRIC Insurance as the underwriting insurer on 1 January 2025, utilising the banking details on your existing policy. If you do not give consent, you will have no cover in place from 31 December 2024.
- The new reference on your bank account will be GENRIC + Policy number.
- Benefits, terms, and conditions will remain the same – there’s no impact on existing cover.
- New underwriting will not be imposed.
- Monthly premiums relating to the advised GAP renewal for 2025 will remain unchanged.
- The appointed financial advisor will still be linked to the new policy.
Should you have any queries relating to your Gap cover please contact your appointed financial advisor.
Contact H&A directly on telephone: 011 234 7333 or email: dhofman@healthacc.co.za should you have any concerns.
Thank you to all the clients who have already provided consent. We do appreciate your support and understanding in this regard.
Yours sincerely
The Health & Accident Team
